Responsibilities
Locate and diagnose problems in ventilation and air conditioning systems. Clearly communicate assessment, repair options, and associated costs to customers in easily understood terms
Perform critical PM services, including cleaning air handling systems and reheat coils, monitoring and calibrating systems, and replacing filters, motors, fans, and belts to prevent equipment failure
Assist with comprehensive system repairs, including calibrating or replacing controls, switches, thermostats, transformers, gauges, wiring, pumps, compressors, condensers, and piping. Install, repair, or replace refrigerant lines, appliance vents, and other components as needed
Ensure all repairs and installations meet the highest standards of accuracy, serviceability, and strict adherence to safety standards/regulatory codes
Complete all required service documentation, including explaining guarantees/warranties and recording service details
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 months of experience in residential HVAC services
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license and good communication skills
Must be able to safely lift or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds (e.g., ductwork, furnaces, materials)
All candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background checks
Preferred
Experience in Residential, Commercial, and Geothermal HVAC fields is highly valued
