Sales Engineer
OERTZENGroup is an industry-leading European manufacturer seeking a Direct Sales Representative based in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. The role involves growing market share through new business development and building strong relationships with customers while representing premium capital equipment and service offerings.
Responsibilities
Grow market share through new business development and strategic sales
Use consultative selling techniques to tailor complete solutions for customers—including equipment, service, and digital tools
Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, owners, and decision-makers
Plan and execute sales activities using CRM tools to manage pipeline and forecast accurately
Become a subject matter expert
Qualification
Required
3+ years of success in capital equipment or industrial B2B sales
Strong experience in prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals
Solid understanding of budgeting, ROI analysis, and strategic sales planning
CRM proficiency (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Willingness to travel daily within the region
