Responsibilities
Design and implement cloud-native architectures using modern engineering best practices
Develop and maintain high-performance applications using C# / .NET (.NET Core preferred)
Collaborate with business stakeholders, traders, and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Architect and support distributed systems, APIs, and microservices
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and performance standards required in financial services
Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers
Optimize systems for reliability, scalability, and low latency
Participate in production support and incident resolution as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core
Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or Architect
Prior experience in financial services, banking, or capital markets (mandatory)
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience designing scalable, secure, and high-availability systems
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
Strong work ethic and ownership mindset
Preferred
Experience working in a hedge fund or trading environment
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Understanding of financial instruments, trading systems, or risk platforms
