Responsibilities

Independently manage a high-volume caseload of complex litigation matters (GL and FPP) from inception through trial or settlement across Texas and Louisiana jurisdictions

Draft comprehensive pleadings, motions, and discovery requests; conduct legal research to guide client strategy

Represent clients in depositions, court appearances, and mediations; prepare witnesses and experts for trial

Maintain regular, professional communication with clients, providing clear guidance on legal issues and potential exposure

Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients

Required

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

Dual Licensure Required: Must be admitted to the Bar in both Texas and Louisiana (Active and in Good Standing)

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience

Skills: Superior research, analytical, and writing skills

Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment while managing strict deadlines

Preferred

Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with specific exposure to both First-Party Property and General Liability defense preferred
