Responsibilities
Design highly usable web interfaces, including layouts, navigation, and content structures, while optimizing performance
Translate business and technical requirements into clear UX/UI designs, prototypes, and design documentation
Partner with cross-functional teams—including engineering, product, marketing, and senior leadership—throughout the full development lifecycle
Apply advanced user-centered design principles, visual design standards, interaction models, and brand guidelines
Leverage qualitative and quantitative research, analytics, and user feedback to inform and refine design decisions
Present and defend design strategies and solutions to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence
Ensure UX strategy execution aligns with business goals and delivers an exceptional end-user experience
Collaborate with IT and development teams from concept through implementation and release
Review and test coded UI to ensure alignment with approved designs and interaction behaviors
Act as an informal functional tester for web UI initiatives
Mentor and train junior UX/UI team members on best practices and design standards
Contribute to department-wide initiatives and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Advanced experience in UX strategy, UI design, and interaction design for complex web applications
Strong understanding of user behavior, usability principles, and data-driven design
Proven ability to design solutions that are both user-centric and technically achievable
Experience working closely with developers and understanding modern web technologies and devices
Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills
