Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure data architectures across cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and align solutions with business objectives
Lead workshops and design sessions to capture requirements and develop architecture strategies
Oversee data integration, transformation, and governance processes to ensure quality and compliance
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data architecture practices and platform modernization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture/Engineering, including 2+ years managing technical teams
Proven experience in Life Sciences domains (Clinical R&D and Commercial) with enterprise-grade solution implementations
Expertise in cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks) and big data architecture patterns (Lambda, Kappa)
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and mentor teams
Knowledge of data security best practices and performance optimization for large-scale data environments
