Responsibilities
Visually examine and inspect in-process ware
Perform visual and specification inspections including spot checks using established sampling plan
Reselect and repack ware
Pull mold numbers or reselect molds on the lehr and perform various other duties assigned with line reselect
Unjam equipment, perform line flow, run samples and evaluate quality based on requirements
Operate label machine
Make minor equipment adjustments where capable; i.e. wipe off a reflector
Load automatic carton equipment and assemble carton parts manually
Perform various duties associated with palletizer/unitizer/forklift operations
Operate baler, compactor, power sweeper, and empty glass hoppers to keep the packing room clean
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Three (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment, or transferrable industry
Effective communication skills
Must be able to stand for 8 hours
Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds
Preferred
Forklift Operator License
Applicable Trade School certifications
