Sun Auto Tire & Service is a leading provider of automotive services and is seeking a General Service Technician to join their team. In this role, you will perform tire maintenance, oil changes, and multi-point inspections to keep customers safely on the road while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation

Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance

Multi-point inspections and vehicle condition documentation

Shop maintenance to keep everything clean and safe

Safe, courteous driving of company vehicles to:

Pick up parts and supplies

Transport customers as needed

Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualification

Valid driver’s licenseVehicle mechanical systemsWillingness to learnPositive attitudeCommunication skills

Required

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Must be at least 18 years old

Availability to work Saturdays and flexible hours

Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building

Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently

Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently

Communicate with customers and shop personnel

Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
