The Shipping Specialist will be responsible for packaging and preparing patient-specific prescription orders for shipment while ensuring quality control and compliance with standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities
Preparing and packaging patient-specific cold, meltable, and room temperature orders for shipment
Communicating amongst departments to ensure any shipping changes are updated appropriately
Updating the team when shipping inventory is low on any items used within that department
Contributes to keeping the assembly and shipping areas clean
Qualification
Required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen
The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Preferred
Previous shipping, packaging and handling experience is a plus, but not required
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting
