Responsibilities
Implementation, Management, Configuration, Optimization and Troubleshooting of Palo Alto Firewalls
Provide top tier of support related to the design, installation, management, and maintenance of our nationwide network of sites and users
Experience with large enterprise level networks
Implementation, Management and troubleshooting of Cisco and Aruba networks
Keeping network documentation updated and current
Communicate with end-users in order to provide top tier support for network issues
Qualification
Required
7+ years of network engineering experience is required
Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Experience with Solarwinds, Cisco Switches, Aruba AP, Wireshark knowledge
Demonstrated excellence in customer service and ability to communicate with all levels of cross-functional teams
Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise
Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Ability to travel, as needed, to support networks across the country
Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members
Preferred
Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
Bachelor's Degree and previous IT consulting experience highly preferred
Avaya IP Office experience a plus
Basic knowledge of Visio, Word and Excel
