Operations & Development Intern

High Tide Theatrical is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Operations & Development Intern to support the administrative, fundraising, and organizational work of a growing nonprofit theatre company. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit arts management, fundraising strategy, and organizational operations while working closely with the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

Assist with scheduling meetings and preparing agendas
Help organize internal documents and systems
Draft and format emails, agendas, and internal materials
Track action items and follow-ups from meetings
Support calendar management and reminders
Assist with donor and membership tracking
Help prepare materials for fundraising campaigns
Support Development Committee logistics
Assist with RSVP tracking and guest lists for events
Help prepare thank-you communications and acknowledgments
Assist with planning and logistics for: Underwriter Previews, Fundraising events (including the Gala), Special performances, Support post-event follow-up and documentation
Research best practices in nonprofit arts administration
Assist with audience or donor research
Help document internal processes for future reference

Qualification

Nonprofit fundraisingEvent planningOrganizational skillsMicrosoft Office SuiteInterest in artsCommunication skillsDetail-oriented

Required

Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student (or recent graduate)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Detail-oriented and reliable
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred

Interest in theatre, arts, or nonprofit work preferred (but not required)
