Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures
Work closely with site personnel and visitors to promote a secure environment within the logistics and distribution setting
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
