Responsibilities
Maintaining multiple computing environments by identifying network requirements
Installing upgrades
Monitoring network performance
Managing network configuration consistency
Providing engineering, design, and implementation solutions for multiple network architectures
Implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, & other data networks
Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance
Perform network modeling and analysis
Define diagrams and designs for business technology initiatives
Enforce policies for standardizing systems
Qualification
Required
Must have a strong background in Network switching and TCP/IP protocol analysis
This position requires strong communication skills and strong technical writing capability
Implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, & other data networks
Experience with network routers and switch configuration experience. Environment includes Artysen, Cisco, Mellanox and Asante switches
Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance
Perform network modeling and analysis
Define diagrams and designs for business technology initiatives
Enforce policies for standardizing systems
Must have strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Strong attention to detail, good documentation skills, ability to write clear, concise project reports
Ability to function with minimal instruction or supervision, or as a part of larger team reporting to formal project management
CompTIA Security+ CE Certification or qualify for IAT Level II
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level
US Citizenship is a requirement for this contract
Preferred
Three years of experience in networking, IT, or other related fields preferred
Familiarity with researching communication networks
