Account Executive - Distribution Software

The Account Executive will drive sales by managing local, in-person sales activities and inbound opportunities, focusing on building relationships with distributors.
Responsibilities
Visit distributor offices and warehouses to build relationships with owners, operations managers, and controllers
Handle inbound leads from the website, demo requests, and email responses
Run discovery calls and product demos
Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up to move opportunities forward
Assist with proposals and closing activities
Attend local events, trade meetings, and business associations relevant to wholesale distributors
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in wholesale distribution, logistics, or manufacturing-adjacent industries
Sales or account management experience, running discovery calls and demos
Confident meeting customers in person and presenting software
Experience selling B2B software
Familiarity with ERP systems or business management software
