Modern Woodmen of America is one of the nation’s largest fraternal benefit societies, and they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Distribution to lead their distribution and agency operations. The Director will enhance recruiting, onboarding, retention, and overall productivity across the organization.

Responsibilities

Direct and oversee field support services, including field development and agency contracting
Serve as the primary liaison between field leadership and the home office to ensure seamless daily operations
Drive execution of strategic initiatives and operational tasks across the organization
Partner with senior managers to strengthen recruiting and onboarding processes
Monitor and enhance strategies for attracting and retaining top talent
Champion productivity improvements across regional teams
Lead training and development programs for field sales staff and internal teams
Mentor emerging leaders and foster a culture of growth and accountability
Develop a deep understanding of Modern Woodmen’s products, fraternal mission, and broker-dealer operations
Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Advocate for the needs of both field and home office teams to drive alignment and shared success

Required

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field required
MBA strongly preferred
FINRA Series SIE, 6, 63, and 26 required
Minimum of 10 years of proven experience and deep knowledge in the life insurance and annuity industry
Demonstrated success in prior sales roles
Familiarity with both field and home office operations
Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and exceptional leadership capabilities

Preferred

Additional professional designations such as LOMA Fellowship, ChFC, CLU, or CFP are a plus
Broker-dealer experience preferred

Benefits

Pay: The annual salary range is $175,000-$225,000.
