Responsibilities
Carry out security-related screening procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols at logistics and distribution locations
Provide customer service by assisting individuals entering and exiting the location and responding to inquiries in a professional manner
Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities
Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters
Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and screening results as required by site protocols
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings to help to deter potential risks and/or suspicious activities within the location
Qualification
Required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Lifting up to 20 pounds is preferred
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
