Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand business requirements and challenges and translate them into technical solutions
Support end-to-end solutions that meet company/customer needs and align with industry best practices
Support the development of complex systems, ensuring scalability, security and reliability
Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to meet project requirements
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends,and apply this knowledge to drive improvement
Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Create processes and documentation to improve efficiency and scale
Provide top tier support related to the design, management, and maintenance of systems for our nationwide network of sites and users
Communicate with end-users in order to provide top tier support for system and issues
Implementation and troubleshooting of systems, both physical and virtual
Management and troubleshooting of AWS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange
Qualification
Required
5+ years of systems engineering experience is required; 10+ years of relevant experience is ideal
Experience in supporting cloud environments
Experience with configuring DNS and DHCP, VMware vSphere, current server operating systems
Demonstrated excellence in customer service and ability to communicate with all levels of cross-functional teams
Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise
Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members
