Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies
Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch personnel and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner
Document and report security-related incidents, activities, and observations according to established protocols
Assist in access control by verifying identification, credentials, and/or visitor authorization at the location
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and on-site personnel regarding incidents and requests for assistance
Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining awareness of site operations and monitoring surveillance systems as required
Support emergency response activities, including contacting appropriate authorities and providing accurate information as needed
Qualification
Required
A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required
An armed guard card or license is required
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Participate in industry-specific security training programs
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
