Responsibilities
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients to ensure compliance with billing and client guidelines
Oversee billing processes from prebill to final submission, ensuring accuracy, adherence to client specifications, and timely delivery of eBills
Monitor and manage rate compliance, fee caps, discounts, matter budgets, and alerts; communicate adjustments with the Billing & Intake Committee
Coordinate with eBilling and accounting teams for new account setups, invoice submissions, troubleshooting, and timely payment follow-up
Prepare and maintain reports on accruals, audits, unapplied cash, and portfolio status; provide solutions and ad hoc reporting as needed
Qualification
Required
MUST have law firm billing experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in financial management systems, advanced Excel, and complex accounting analysis; strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and deliver exceptional client service with flexibility and initiative
