The role involves creating and revising print packages, evaluating engine components, and supporting design engineers in testing and troubleshooting new product designs.

Responsibilities

Operates the test equipment for new engine components and new suppliers
Creates and revises prints and database information for new sensor applications and new vehicles
Completes the supporting documentation for the print packages, which includes the BOM's, the print checklists, and the wiring diagrams, schematics, custom fabrication drawings
Assists design engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of new product design
Evaluates engine components on vehicles
Maintains a system for tracking timing and backlog
Develops tests, specifications, and procedures for engine components
Because of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change. The employee will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management

Qualification

Electro-mechanical testingEngine component evaluationExcel proficiencyBasic electronic circuitsVehicle experienceFlexibility

Required

Good understanding of Excel and familiar with Access, and Word
Understands basic electronic circuits
Previous experience with vehicles and engines
Flexibility to handle a variety of work assignments

Preferred

Previous experience with engine components is preferred
