Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement new mainframe systems or modify existing applications to meet business requirements
Collaborate with business units to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and document system specifications
Perform coding, testing, debugging, and program refinement using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and related technologies
Troubleshoot operational issues, provide technical support, and participate in system implementations and post-implementation maintenance
Develop technical documentation and assist in training peers while ensuring adherence to established processes and standards

Qualification

Required

5+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, Batch, TSO/ISPF, and FIS Systematics core banking systems
Strong technical coding skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Ability to work independently with moderate guidance; occasional after-hours and on-call availability required

Preferred

Proficiency with Serena ChangeMan ZMF; familiarity with Agile methodologies and IBM Mainframe Assembly language preferred
