SYC is a premium carbon-fibre design brand based in the UK, specializing in high-performance instrument cases and luxury travel accessories. They are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Intern to support their digital campaigns and brand presence across Google Ads, SEO, and social media.

Responsibilities

Assist with setting up, monitoring, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
Build keyword lists, negative keywords, and help refine targeting
Draft and test ad copy variations
Review performance metrics (CPC, CTR, ROAS) and prepare simple reports
Conduct competitor research and identify new marketing opportunities
Support SEO updates: metadata, alt text, product descriptions, keyword planning
Propose SEO-driven content ideas and review website performance data
Prepare regular posts: product features, artist showcases, behind-the-scenes content, customer stories, event updates
Write captions and hashtags aligned with brand voice
Help manage the weekly posting calendar and content scheduling
Assist with short-form video ideas and basic editing (Reels/TikTok)
Track engagement metrics and identify high-performing content
Suggest improvements and new content ideas based on trends and data

Required

Currently completing Bachelor's degree — Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
Strong interest in digital marketing, Google Ads, SEO, and social media content
Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, and content structure
Comfortable creating content for Instagram/TikTok; interest in short-form video is a plus
Ability to use Canva, Photoshop, or basic video editing tools
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
Reliable and organized, with strong communication skills
Able to commit ~20 hours/week (PST hours preferred)
Ideal for students or recent graduates seeking real hands-on marketing experience

Preferred

Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, or analytics tools is a plus (not required) but willing to learn
