Laboratory Assistant, Biotechnology for Science & Health Academy

Responsibilities
Completing training and learning about the program to understand how to best support the student experience
Meeting with Lab Directors and Lab Faculty prior to programs to review lab activities
Maintaining a well-stocked lab environment
Creating a safe and supportive academic environment for students
Building community and belonging amongst the students and staff
Establishing appropriate boundaries with students in compliance with the University's Protection of Minors Policy
Reporting unsafe, inappropriate, or concerning behavior, and student conduct issues
Enforcing University policies, procedures, and regulations to students
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Some graduate-level medical or science education
Experience working in a lab
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Current or graduating Georgetown student
Institutional knowledge of Georgetown University
