Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the car wash area, guaranteeing timely and efficient service delivery
Assist the Car Wash Supervisor in managing and delegating tasks to the car wash team, promoting smooth and effective operations
Make sure the car wash area, tools, and equipment are clean, organized, and maintained according to safety and operational standards
Monitor inventory levels, track material supplies, and coordinate ordering and delivery to keep necessary stock for operations
Train and guide new car wash attendants, helping them understand operational procedures and safety protocols
Support the Supervisor in evaluating team performance and addressing any operational issues or improvements needed
Oversee compliance with safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment, and address safety concerns promptly
Manage vehicle flow, coordinating that all cars are processed efficiently through the car wash without delays
Assist with minor maintenance tasks related to the car wash equipment and report major maintenance issues to the Supervisor
Work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions, making sure operations run smoothly during peak hours
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, making certain that the car wash area is always presentable and compliant with safety regulations
Help the Supervisor with scheduling and adjusting staff as needed based on demand or weather conditions
Fill in as necessary when required
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in Auto care services
Perform other related duties as assigned
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the surrounding areas, ensuring a neat and safe environment at all times
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, and consistently embrace and exemplify the company’s core values in all aspects of work
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
At least 1 year of experience in a car wash or similar operational role, with leadership or team-leading experience
Enjoys interacting with guests
Team Player
Can communicate in English both written and oral
Enjoys being challenged
Positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
Ability to assist in managing and guiding a team to promote smooth operations and high standards
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and maintaining a positive, productive environment
Knowledge of car wash equipment, chemicals, and maintenance procedures
Strong multitasking abilities and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Basic problem-solving skills to address operational or equipment issues efficiently
Typically will be working within the auto center and service area
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on the business's operational needs
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions, as required in an automotive environment
Preferred
Previous experience in car wash operations or a similar automotive setting preferred
