Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Aurora, IL. In this role, you will monitor access points, provide customer service, and ensure a secure environment in a food and beverage production setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas

Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, adapting to the requirements of a food and beverage production environment

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities as appropriate

Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns

Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure environment

Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols

Required

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
