The National Sales Manager of Private Wealth Alternatives will oversee the PWA external field sales team, driving growth in the Private Wealth Alternatives market and enhancing the external brand through visibility and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

Hire, lead, coach, and inspire a high performing team of PWA External Client Advisors. Build and sustain a trusting, highly effective team
Inform product development and prioritization through client feedback and emerging trends
Enhance our external brand by being highly visible in the industry, including speaking at national and divisional client meetings
Monitor and analyze business results, coaching the team to optimize performance and client activities
Conduct regular business review and planning meetings with key firms, evaluating the progress of our partnerships
Collaborate with the broader U.S. Advisor client leadership team and Investment Specialists to exchange ideas and formulate strategies for increased penetration within targeted firms
Manage through a group of Centers of Influence at each of our partner firms. Build rapport and relationships to help our teams work with their teams
Maintain contacts at home offices with our Tier 1 office firms

Qualification

Required

15+ years' experience in asset and wealth management distribution, with extensive expertise in private alternatives
Travel on a frequent basis required
Series 7, 63 licenses required for position
Bachelor's degree required
Demonstrated industry and product knowledge, understanding competition, clients, and marketplace; experience in various private alternative structures, including BDCs, Interval Funds, NTRs, and closed-end offerings

Preferred

Proven track record of sales leadership; steeped in working successfully in/across teams, demonstrating strong energy, focus, and drive to achieve sales results
Capacity to build and manage relationships across the organization and with clients, fostering a positive team culture
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment
MBA, CFA, CIMA
