Maverick Power is a rapidly growing company specializing in power distribution solutions. They are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and implementation of advanced DC power systems for critical infrastructure, focusing on efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

System Design & Development: Lead the design of high-efficiency DC power systems, including rectifiers, inverters, battery backup systems, and power distribution units (PDUs) for mission-critical applications

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, UL, NEC)

Project Management: Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, from requirements gathering and system architecture to testing, commissioning, and maintenance

Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize DC power systems for energy efficiency, reliability, and scalability, integrating renewable energy sources where applicable

Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex power system issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical operations

Vendor Collaboration: Work with suppliers to select and qualify power components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compatibility with system requirements

Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and operational manuals

Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in DC power systems, contributing to R&D initiatives and patent filings as needed
