Responsibilities

Analyze, dissect, and reverse-engineer malware and advanced persistent threats (APTs) to uncover their functionality and impact
Identify vulnerabilities and exploits across software, hardware, and network systems
Develop tools and scripts to enhance malware analysis and threat detection capabilities
Work closely with intelligence analysts, software developers, and cybersecurity teams
Provide actionable insights that strengthen security posture
Document findings clearly and produce detailed technical reports for internal teams and federal partners
Stay current on emerging threats, malware trends, and reverse-engineering techniques
Support incident response and forensic investigations as needed to protect critical systems and information

Required

Strong experience in reverse engineering, malware analysis, and cybersecurity
Proficiency with assembly, C/C++, Python, and scripting languages for analysis automation
Experience with disassembly and debugging tools (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare2, OllyDbg, WinDbg)
Familiarity with operating systems internals (Windows, Linux, macOS)
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
12 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required

Preferred

Knowledge of networking protocols, encryption, and exploit development is a plus
