Senior LevelCHEManager International is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to the research and implementation of a Climate-Smart Productive Alley Cropping System at Lincoln University. The role focuses on enhancing farm resilience, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, and supporting historically underserved farmers in Missouri.

Responsibilities
Plan and implement research activities related to soil health, carbon storage, and crop productivity within alley cropping systems
Collect, analyze, and interpret data for detailed reports and presentations
Write manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications
Develop educational materials and conduct workshops aimed at training farmers and extension agents on best management practices for alley cropping systems
Assist in the coordination of project activities to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualification
Required
PhD. in Agroforestry, Forestry, Soil Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in conducting field research in agroecological systems
Evidence of scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals related to agroforestry or soil science
Preferred
Experience with alley cropping, agroforestry, or climate-smart agriculture practices
Familiarity with greenhouse gas emissions monitoring
Familiarity with community engagement and educational outreach
