They are seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to design, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions and meet project objectives.
Commercial and Industrial Machinery Maintenance
Responsibilities
Lead process engineering design and analysis for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Develop and review P&IDs, PFDs, mass & energy balances, and process flow diagrams
Conduct process simulations, heat & material balances, and hydraulic calculations
Specify and size process equipment such as heat exchangers, pumps, reactors, and separators
Perform technical evaluations of equipment and instrumentation selections
Define project goals, scopes, allocate resources, and set timelines to ensure successful implementation of process enhancements, and requirements
Collaborate with other disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions
Support clients with troubleshooting, plant modifications, and operational improvements
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the organization
Participate in client meetings, site visits, and field support activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in chemical or process engineering or a related field
Ten plus (10+) years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a project-based environment
Strong understanding of process design, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar software
Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, API, NFPA, OSHA, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Strong communication and project management skills
Continuous learning mindset with a passion for staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in chemical/process engineering
Preferred
A Professional Engineer (PE) license in Engineering
Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
Ability to pass background screening
Must be authorized to work in the United States
