Responsibilities
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location
Assist with screening individuals, packages, and/or vehicles as required by site procedures to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe any unusual activity
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies
Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the logistics and distribution environment
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors to provide information and direction as needed
Qualification
Required
Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
