The Field Engineer role involves assisting in construction project life-cycles, learning building fundamentals, and promoting safety culture on-site.

Responsibilities

Work with superintendent and foreman to learn building fundamentals and codes

Aid superintendent and project manager with project budgeting, bidding, buyouts, procurement log, RFIs, and certifications of occupancies

Provides input in Pre and 1st Installation Verification meetings with trade partners

Complete procurement log and submittals in a timely manner

Ensure equipment and material arrive at the jobsite per schedule

Promote, enforce, and train trade partners on Graham’s safety policies

Conducts safety walks and reports

Works closely with Superintendent and Project Manager to learn labor and material reports and able to accurately analyze the available money and manpower for specific work activities

Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, and Outlook

Follow Graham Core Process, including jobsite checklists

Maintain great relationships with owners/clients, architects, trade partners, and other industry representatives
