Responsibilities

Lead the maintenance team in maintaining the physical integrity of a multifamily apartment home community

Diagnose and fix electrical, plumbing, HVAC, gas, appliance, structural, lighting, and security systems

Anticipate problems that residents might have before they occur

Serve as the community’s point person for creating a worry-free living environment

Lead a team of technicians in performing routine preventive maintenance and making timely repairs

Share wisdom and insights with the team, prioritize tasks, and motivate them to excel

Oversee and inspect the team’s work, performing tasks yourself when necessary

Keep track of maintenance details, resident service requests, and preventive maintenance records

Manage service vendors, maintenance budget, and supplies inventory
