HCL Global Systems Inc is seeking a Cloud Compute Architect to design and implement solutions in AWS with a focus on compute resources. The role involves expertise in Linux OS, building OS base images, and working with various automation tools and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Expertise in Linux OS, Filesystem, package/patch management, OS hardening

Experience architecting solutions in AWS specifically focused on compute resources

Experience building OS base images using AWS Image builder or similar technologies

Hands on expertise in: Ansible, BASH shell scripting, Python, Json/Yaml, Terraform, Git, AWS CLI/SDK(boto3)

Experience working in a regulated industry, handing security and compliance around OS, Compute resources will be an added advantage

Expertise in troubleshooting Linux OS, basic networking, related issues

Expertise in Systems engineering, enterprise architecture, security best practices

Candidate must be familiar with CI/CD, CVE management, Vulnerability scanning, Artifactory, SNOW/Change management process

CERTIFICATIONS is of no value if the candidate doesn't have sufficient knowledge and hands-on experience

Someone from strong OS and infrastructure/DC background

Most of the build/release, devops/ops/support engineers won't be a good fit for this role (Folks who have a lot of experience on CI/CD tools and spend most of their career developing/supporting Jenkins pipelines, etc.)
