Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence
Oversee automation initiatives for cloud and on-prem infrastructure, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency
Partner with product managers and stakeholders to deliver robust, cloud-native solutions
Utilize technologies such as Java, Python, SQL, container orchestration (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes), configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform), and AWS services
Drive compliance and control automation projects across teams
Stay ahead of tech trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and occasionally contribute hands-on to code reviews and architecture decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
6+ years of DevOps engineering experience
4+ years with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
6+ years of Unix/Linux system administration
4+ years of people management experience
Preferred
7+ years in DevOps engineering
Strong coding/scripting skills (Python, Java, SQL, Bash, etc.)
Experience in infrastructure automation (on-prem & cloud)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Zabbix)
Agile development and SRE environment experience
