The Interior Technician is responsible for creating and installing high-end upholstery and interior components into classic vehicles, requiring in-depth knowledge of upholstery techniques and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Use of sewing machines

Adapt and conform with a wide variety of premium quality upholstery

Utilize creative knowledge with hand-crafted upholstery applications

Inspect both raw material and finished product for conformance to specifications

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficiently organized workstation

Work with composites, acrylics, and starboard

Support and collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment

Document work by taking clear photographs for customer service and internal records

Arrive on time with a professional appearance, ready to work at start of shift

Adhere to the company dress code and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Complete daily SOS/sign off sheet

Qualification

Required

In-depth knowledge of modern upholstery techniques

Good eye for detail

Ability to visualize design ideas

Strong attention to detail with ability to properly install upholstery in tight spaces of interior vehicle frames

Relentless desire to produce high quality work and to continue learning new trends and techniques

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently or in a team setting

Comfortable with verbal and written direction and switching tasks as needed to meet deadlines

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to work overtime as needed

Mandatory drug screening required

Experience with sewing machines is a plus, but we can train you to learn as well

Prior automotive, marine and boat upholstery is a plus
