Senior Technologist Test Development Engineer

Responsibilities
Define and execute the long-term vision and test strategies for the wafer test team, aligning department objectives with overall company strategic goals to ensure competitiveness in yield, quality, reliability, and performance
Oversee the end-to-end execution of wafer test development for NPI and production ramp projects, ensuring seamless transition from development to high-volume manufacturing (HVM)
Manage project schedules, allocate resources effectively (testers, probers, lab equipment), and define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and drive continuous improvement
Evaluate advanced semiconductor devices through testing, measurement, and data analysis
Collaborate across teams to link device physics and develop test methodologies and algorithms for wafer test and characterization
Conduct experiments, analyze device data, investigate root-causes, and present findings
Mentor peers, lead technical reviews, and serve as a subject-matter expert
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
15+ years of experience in memory, storage, or system-level product, test, or validation engineering
Proven leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders
Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and drive results
Great foundation in semiconductor physics and electrical characterization
Deep understanding of NAND, DRAM, and emerging memory test methodologies
Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and parametric systems (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, wafer probers, parametric ATE, and bench systems)
Experience using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems such as Advantest and Teradyne
Proficiency in Python, C/C++, and Unix/Linux, for automation and analysis
Proven ability to scale characterization methods into production flows
Creative problem-solving and excellent interpersonal skills
Solid knowledge of high-speed interface protocols, like: NAND (Toggle/ONFI), DDR3–DDR5, LPDDR3–LPDDR5, GDDR3–GDDR6, HBM2/3/3E/4
Knowledge in serial testing like SCAN, JTAG or other serial protocols
Background in data analytics
