Responsibilities

Provides technical support to customers and sales team by responding to inquiries on product information and capabilities

Responsible for solving technical problems by devising solutions to implement at customer locations based on previous customer feedback or requests

Responds to customer complaints, isolates problems and reports results to commercial leadership

Maintains Colortech’s industry presence by representing Colortech at industry conferences & trade shows. Conducts/develops customer presentations, web seminars, publications, articles, etc

Produces call reports, monthly summaries of active projects, updates as required and distributes

A bachelor's degree in science, engineering, polymer science, or a related technical field is required; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus

Minimum of 8 years of experience in polymer processing or technical services, including at least 3 years leading major accounts or strategic technical initiatives in a polymer-related industry

Knowledge of color concentrates, plastics compounding, and processing technologies required; experience with CRM systems or relevant customer process equipment (blown/cast film, blow molding, injection molding, profile extrusion, etc.) is highly desirable
