Responsibilities
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial settings
Pull wire, install conduit, and prepare materials as directed by journeyman electricians
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
Support troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
2-4 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
Enrollment in or willingness to enter an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
Basic understanding of electrical principles and tools
Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors
Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor
CANDIDATES MUST LIVE NEAR, SURROUND, OR RESIDE IN MONTGOMERY, AL
Preferred
Previous experience in construction or electrical work is a plus
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
Good communication and teamwork skills
