Responsibilities

The primary work will be establishing channel strategies for new products, including: identifying how we should sell, where we should sell, and why. This is inclusive of what markets, channels, and what retailers within each of those should be prioritized. You own the entire path-to-purchase, defining where the shoppers can buy, how they buy, and what mechanisms are in place to support conversion to ensure the best possible launch and market reception
A successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive sales category strategy, developing go-to-channel plans, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and driving sales levers to ensure seamless launch moment readiness
Category Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-channel strategy for upcoming HW products by analyzing market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions
Product Launch Management: Spearhead launches new HW products, ensuring timely and successful execution of launch plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive global sales strategy and execution
Performance Metrics and Analysis: Develop and track key performance metrics, analyzing sales data, customer feedback, and market research to inform business decisions and optimize category performance
Stakeholder Management: Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as external partners, to drive business growth and revenue expansion
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for HW product launches, ensuring effective allocation of resources and ROI-driven decision-making
Innovation and Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth in the Wearable product category

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
8+ years of experience in product management, category management, product marketing or a related field, with a focus on consumer electronics
Experience launching successful products and managing complex stakeholder relationships
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and market research
Experience presenting to influence and persuade stakeholders
Go to market and sales experience
Being very aware of timelines of deliverables, launching product on time, XFN collaboration

Preferred

Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
10+ years of professional experience in consumer electronics, with a demonstrated track record of launching new zero to 1 type of products, driving business growth and revenue expansion
Experience in 0-1 consumer Hardware, Wearables, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality or Mixed Reality Devices
Start up experience
Experience in Both Product Marketing and Sales Demonstrated background working across both product marketing and sales functions, enabling a holistic approach to go-to-market strategy and execution
Autonomous and Proactive Work Style Ability to operate independently with minimal guidance
Self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of projects
Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
Skilled at structuring and synthesizing complex information for clear communication and decision-making
Hands-On, Motivated Attitude Willingness to “roll up sleeves” and dive into details as needed
Experience with Consumer Hardware and Emerging Technologies Prior experience launching or scaling new (0-1) consumer hardware products, especially in Wearables, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), or Mixed Reality (MR) devices
