Responsibilities

Perform laboratory analyses such as BOD, TSS/VSS, TKN, Nitrate/Nitrite, pH, Alkalinity, Total Phosphorus, Chloride, E. coli, Cyanide, and Residual Chlorine
Follow QA/QC procedures and SOPs to ensure accurate and compliant results
Maintain documentation and enter validated data into LIMS
Prepare chemical reagents, standards, and bacteriological media
Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware
Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on lab instruments
Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment in accordance with safety policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science
1+ year of laboratory or environmental testing experience (or equivalent combination of education and training)
Knowledge of EPA methods, QA/QC, and laboratory safety practices

Preferred

Experience with environmental or wastewater laboratories
Familiarity with LIMS systems
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
