Responsibilities

Manage the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and scenario planning; maintain a rolling outlook
Own monthly close insights in partnership with Accounting; prepare management reporting packs and present to leadership
Build and maintain financial models for pricing, product margin, capital investments, and strategic initiatives
Establish and monitor KPIs that align with strategic direction and drive accountability
Develop guardrails and workflows for pricing approvals; administer preset limits and escalate per policy
Partner with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to align plans with capacity, cost, and demand signals
Ensure data quality and control across budgeting, reporting, and analytics
Mentor team members; set goals, conduct performance reviews, and support career development

Required

Demonstrated alignment with the Butter Buds culture; team-first collaborator
7+ years of progressive finance experience including cost accounting and budgeting/FP&A in a product/manufacturing or relevant industry context
Experience with development and implementation of strategic initiatives
Proven supervisory/leadership experience; ability to coach and develop talent
Strong financial modeling, variance analysis, and executive-ready communication skills
Demonstrated ability (and desire) to learn Butter Buds' people, products, and business model quickly
Advanced Excel; familiarity with BI/reporting tools a plus
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA/CPA a plus
