Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize complex T-SQL stored procedures and views for maximum efficiency
Monitor and improve database performance through effective indexing strategies and query execution plans
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure database designs support scalable applications
Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in production environments
Document database architecture and processes while implementing optimization strategies
Convert Postgres functions to Microsoft SQL Server
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or later) and Postgres
Proven expertise in query tuning and execution plan analysis
Strong understanding of SQL Server and Postgres internals, including transactions and locking
Experience with performance monitoring tools such as SQL Profiler and DMVs
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with database architecture documentation
Knowledge of optimization strategies for stored procedures and views
Familiarity with collaborative development practices
