Responsibilities
Provide support & manage community fundraising (Students Unite for HER, Outside Special Events, peer-to-peer pages/fliers, vendor/t-shirt coordination; in person event support)
Research grant and funding opportunities aligned with the mission; track deadlines, submissions, and renewals
Write and submit compelling grant proposals (narratives) and required follow-up reporting
Develop and steward relationships with funders; furnish supportive documents as needed
Collaborate with staff to gather data, testimonials, and metrics; maintain prospecting files and grant records
Support donor stewardship and development projects
Occasional night & weekend coverage of events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of development experience or master's degree
Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Teams
Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); strong people and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines
