This role provides first and second-level technical support, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving desktop support issues while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Install, configure, repair, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support issues
Support Windows-based systems and enterprise applications
Manage user accounts and access using Microsoft Active Directory
Provide professional, courteous technical support to end users
Document incidents, resolutions, and procedures in a ticketing system
Escalate issues as needed and recommend process improvements
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be a current Wisconsin resident
This is a 100% onsite role in Madison, WI (no remote, no relocation)
8–10+ years of desktop / end-user support experience
Strong experience with Windows 10 & Windows 11
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Solid hardware and software troubleshooting skills
Experience using ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar)
Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Experience supporting macOS (OSX)
Knowledge of computer and endpoint security practices
Experience mentoring or guiding junior support staff
