STEPS Administrative Support Associate
The University of Kentucky is seeking an Administrative Support Associate for their Department of Toxicology & Cancer Biology. This role involves assisting the DTCB Business Office, serving as the first point of contact for the department, and providing support with graduate program administration and departmental events.

Responsibilities
Assist and support the DTCB Business Office
Serve as first point of contact for the Department
Answering phones, fielding questions and other inquiries
Provide assistance to faculty as needed
Provide assistance with graduate program administration
Coordinating all department events and seminar series
Processing of payment documents
Making travel arrangements for official guests
Provide back-up assistance as needed for centralized ordering and other departmental functions
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented
Exhibiting maturity and good judgment
Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capacity to work independently and with flexibility
Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 25 lbs
Sitting for long periods of time
Repetitive motion
Preferred
Microsoft Office Suite
