Bold Renewables is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Accountant to lead the accounting and financial reporting functions. This role involves overseeing financial close processes, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and driving improvements in financial systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the accounting function, including general ledger, cost accounting, inventory, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP

Develop and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with private equity reporting requirements

Partner with operations & supply chain to analyze performance, standard costs, variances, and inventory valuation

Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards to executive leadership and private equity sponsors

Manage external audits and coordinate with tax advisors, legal counsel, and other third-party service providers

Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting tools

Utilize NetSuite to maximize the systems capabilities

Prepares and records journal entries and account and bank reconciliations

Reviews system generated transactions for reasonableness

Produce, maintain and analyze complex management reports

Prepare sales and use tax, state and local reports, and tax returns

Develop and interpret analysis of financial statements stakeholders

Ensure NetSuite is working properly and lead improvements to NetSuite usage

Develop and implement improvements to the processes noted above
