Marketing and Communications Manager
Prestige | Global Meeting Source is seeking a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the organization's goals. The role involves leading corporate communications, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and community engagement efforts to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with media, industry partners, influencers, and team members
Manage press releases, media statements, and corporate communications in a timely and effective manner
Support executive visibility through avenues such as interviews, articles, and thought-leadership opportunities
Collaborate on and coordinate PR efforts around major announcements, partnerships, events, or anything that improves, builds, and protects brand reputation
Oversee digital campaigns such as email, paid ads, search engine optimization, and web content to increase visibility and engagement
Develop and produce short- and long-form video content, including campaigns, announcements, and storytelling, such as event highlights, team features, and client success spotlights, with all visuals aligned with brand tone and messaging
Collaborate with internal teams to develop data-driven marketing initiatives that support business growth with a clear set of goals and defined metrics while keeping up to date on related emerging trends
Track, analyze, and report on digital metrics to measure impact and Return on Investment
Develop, lead, and implement a comprehensive social media strategy, campaign, and content creation for all of Prestige’s social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) that aligns with the company’s brand, marketing goals, and target audience
Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all channels, ensuring all content complies with brand guidelines and legal/ethical standards
Set measurable objectives such as engagement growth and brand awareness and establish clear KPI’s
Monitor and report on engagement, respond to comments, and proactively identify emerging trends or opportunities
Collaborate with EVP, Commercial, on a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that supports business goals and reinforces brand credibility
Manage corporate messaging and narrative, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across all communications
Work closely with Sales, Industry Relations, Event Services, Sourcing Team, Account Directors, Marketing Events, and Leadership Team for unified messaging and commercial alignment
Draft and refine internal and external communication materials such as newsletters, presentations, flyers, leadership messages, announcements, and stakeholder updates, developing clear, compelling copy that aligns with brand voice and strategic priorities, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
Support creation of key collateral such as Event Services toolkits, talking points, press releases, and post-event recaps to reinforce and brand visibility and engagement
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to translate complex initiatives into simple, inspiring messages for both internal and external audiences
Create and manage content calendars, ensuring alignment and timely balance and distribution of communications across relevant channels (email, intranet, social, and partner networks)
Edit and proofread materials for clarity, tone, and alignment with organizational values and brand standards
Maintain a centralized library of up-to-date templates and approved messaging for consistency across teams and departments
Own brand governance across all seller decks, sales materials, and digital channels
Oversee integrated campaign strategy in partnership with Marketing and Events to drive lead generation, client engagement, and partner visibility
Oversee community management, ensuring timely, professional engagement with followers, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
Lead crisis communication efforts during sensitive or crisis situations, coordinating messages and responses
Collaborate with leadership to ensure timely, clear, and consistent messaging
Monitor conversations, mentions, and public sentiment, and develop proactive reputation management strategies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or 5+ years of experience in developing and managing marketing and communications strategies
Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Positive, friendly, and approachable attitude, with a strong work ethic and ability to effectively handle confidential information
Proven ability to influence and build positive and productive work relationships within the organization and externally
Experience with and commitment to ongoing growth in AI-driven content creation, analytics tools, and emerging digital platforms
Proficient in HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation tools) with proven experience building email campaigns, workflows, and dashboards
Advanced Canva skills required; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and MS Office skills
