Responsibilities
Consolidate enterprise-wide telecom inventory and billing into a single, standardized TEM platform
Develop and manage a comprehensive telecom cost structure, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting
Forecast monthly and quarterly telecom run rates and identify cost optimization opportunities
Define and manage processes for ordering, modifying, and disconnecting telecom services
Partner with IT, Finance, Field teams, and Accounts Payable to manage the telecom billing lifecycle
Lead TEM platform integration and migration, ensuring reporting accuracy and metric continuity
Oversee third-party telecom vendors; track issues, enforce SLAs, and drive spend reduction initiatives
Audit and validate telecom billing, charge-back models, and contract compliance across:
Cellular
Local & Long Distance
Data Networks
International Telecom Services
Support telecom-related RFPs, contract reviews, SLAs, and KPI definitions
Manage carrier SLAs and develop executive-level reporting for senior leadership
Participate in and support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with telecom vendors
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC)
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related discipline
6–8+ years of experience in telecom expense management, ITSM, or large-scale technical implementations
Strong understanding of telecom billing, inventory management, and carrier contracts
Proven experience managing vendors, SLAs, and telecom cost optimization initiatives
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across IT, Finance, and business teams
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Experience using project management tools and methodologies to plan and track initiatives
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment
