Mammography Tech Trainee

Responsibilities
Complete a 40-hour initial Mammography Training Course Webinar with 8-hours of training in digital mammography included (Radnet will reimburse you)
Complete 8-hours of training in Tomosynthesis (Radnet will reimburse you)
Pass the California State Mammography Licensing Exam (Radnet will reimburse you)
Career Advancement Opportunity Available for a dedicated and caring professional to cross-train into mammography
Be provided hands-on training in mammography once you have your California State Mammography License
Become a full-time mammography technologist with RadNet once certified
Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
A current California State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and ARRT (R) certification
BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
The keen interest and ability to learn new skills in advanced radiology procedures such as Tomosynthesis, biopsies, and procedures
Are resilient, adaptable and compassionate. Patients can be nervous about their exams; we look to you to provide a calm and friendly demeanor, and provide a professional and positive healthcare delivery experience
Be quick thinking and have the ability to take appropriate action on-the-fly should an emergent situation arise
